Horrible experience! The place needs to be shut down by the health department. Witnessed blood and human waste in the pool within the first hour of arriving. Life guards apparantly find bodily fluids funny instead of recognizing them as a health hazard. We were there less than an hour and requested our money back due to these unsafe swimming conditions...refund denied. We were traveling through SC for the day so as instructed we filled out a form and dropped it by Town Hall requesting a refund. It has been 7 weeks and no refund. The administrator at Town Hall is a joke...he actually tried to defend a lifeguard carrying dripping human waste in a net across the entire pool deck with waste even dripping on the floats as she walked past. Disgusting!! Staff is obviously not properly trained.

Felt like it was a little overpriced for what they had to offer. That being said, they bent over backwards to help us when we had a little family emergency. The staff was so kind and helpful. We were able to get our situation resolved with their help and support. I was impressed with their genuine concern and assistance.
(update... September 2, 2017 I called they told me they would be open 1 to 6 on the 3rd. I go on the 3rd, they say they won't open until 3:30pm. so we wait. then they tell us they are only opening for a private party and we can't come in... thanks so much... please communicate better so people don't waist time coming.) time before that... small, but kids loved it. I liked all the life guards. I lost my phone... I asked them for it and they had it. someone turned it in! I was so happy because it has all my kids photos on. thank you honest people.
I really like shipwreck cove. For the price, you can have a lot of fun in a clean, family oriented environment. There's a nice park outside for lunches and parties. An overall good experience!
